$28000 Richer, Buitini Wins Vodafone Prize

It was a dream come true for stay home mum, Ivamere Buituni. She is the winner for Vodafone Fiji’s 28th birthday promotion drawn yesterday.
A total of $280, 000 in cash and prizes were up for grabs for its customers. $2,800 cash was given every day to one customer and Ms Buintuni walked away with the grand prize of $28,000.
She hails from Naqara Village in Ono, Kadavu. When she was informed about the good news, at first she thought that it was a prank call.
“I laughed and told the person on the other line to email me then I will believe it,” Ms Buituni said.
“After a few minutes I received an email when I saw that it was an official email from Vodafone. I closed the email and opened it again thinking it was a dream. I just can’t believe my luck.”
“I did not know that the $2 recharge I bought to apply for the free call promotion last month made me a winner today. This is the first time I have won something, I never expected this.”
“The first thing I will do is pay off my TELS and pay the bills at home. I want to thank Vodafone for organising such promotions.”
Vodafone Fiji Board chairperson Kalpana Lal thanked its customers and partners for continuing to place their trust and loyalty in the Vodafone brand.
“In the last 28 years, Vodafone as a 100 per cent locally owned company has made significant progress in the mobile communications and ICT sector, proudly now serving over 800,000 Fijians through its network,” Ms Lal said.
“We also aspire to deliver nothing but the best for our customers. Looking to the future, Vodafone Fiji continues to explore opportunities created by the new order in a post-covid environment where connectivity and digital services has become a necessity.”
