The opening of the Suva Meenoo’s branch provided employment opportunities to 19 people. Branch manager Avinesh Krishna said they would be recruiting more.

He said because the demands from their customers led to setting up a bigger store in the central city.

Mr Krishna said the location was very convenient on one of the busiest streets in Suva, Mark Street.

About The Store

The double storey building offers a variety of choices from clothes to household electrical appliances and school stationery.

“This is a one stop shop where everything you need is under one roof,” Mr Krishna said.

“The ground floor has a clothing section for men, women, children, sports, bula wear and materials for all occasions.”

“We’re also preparing a section for school uniforms to be ready by the start of school next year,” he said.

Mr Krishna said that most of their garments were locally made. The store opens six days a week and on selected Sundays.
