Thirty three- year-old, Titilia De­laivuna who is originally from Su­vavou Village and is married with three kids, yearns to explore and develop her skills in Human Resource Manage­ment while broadening her knowledge and expanding responsibilities in leader­ship.

Ms Delaivuna who is the Human Resources/P.A for the Fiji Hideaway Re­sort & Spa on the Coral Coast, started her career at Hideaway in 2015, and has been enthusiastically serving for seven years and counting in HR.

Some of her responsibilities which aren’t exclusively confined to HRM, include Hotel Licensing, Arrival and Departure Covid Testing, welfare of Covid Positive Guests, Employment Relations, Payroll & Admin duties.

“The Tourism industry has a matchless customer service, as we are enthusiastic about welcoming & serving our guests,” she said.

“The industry itself teaches us to have ex­cellent communication and people skills, especially given the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, and being able to learn more about their diverse cul­ture.

“A feeling for languages helps as well as a curiosity for life. It is by far an interesting sector that is very rewarding and enjoy­able.
