New Logo Launched For Fiji Hideaway

Fiji Hideway Resort and Spa, now under new management, has unveiled a new logo for the resort after undergoing a rebranding.
The property located along Coral Coast is owned by Fiji Teachers Union (FTU) and is now being managed by locally-owned Tour Managers Group.
The unveiling was done on Friday July 29 at the Landers Bay Resort and Spa Fiji in Vuda.
Tour Managers Group managing director, Damend Gounder, thanked the FTU-CTCL board for having the confidence and the trust in their business model and also their style of management.
What started as a family business with three people and one vehicle has now grown substantially to include resort management & a weddings / events business.
Mr Gounder stressed the Group has been through its share of challenges due to COVID-19 particularly but it has come out stronger.
He said the decision to manage Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa was agreed upon in 2020 however they had to defer due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“So we had to defer the agreement but continued to work together with the FTUC credit union board during the lockdowns to keep the result in good health,” he said.
“It also gave us an opportunity to understand the properties better.”
Mr Gounder said with the FTU-CTCL board, the Hideaway Resort and Spa has undergone some major room renovations and rearrangements.
“We have introduced our own Tour Managers “REST WELL” mattresses made specially to our specifications in Melbourne Australia,” he said.
“The 116 rooms are fully-equipped with these new world class mattresses and rooms reconfigured to either 1 King or 1 King and 2 singles. Hideaway now has an adults-only wing.”
Meanwhile, Tourism Fiji chairman and Fiji Airways managing director/CEO, Andre Viljoen, highlighted the vital link Tour Managers was in Fiji’s unique tourism experiences.
The Tour Managers Group has set itself up to be a major player in the tourism industry for decades to come.
“Its future investment plans will add to the already vibrant holiday options available to our visitors and further strengthen the resilience of our industry which is Fiji’s largest foreign exchange earner.”
