Expect wet conditions across the Fiji group from September to November this year. Based on the outlook, acting director of meteorology, Terry Atalifo said wet conditions would return over September to November after being absent in July.
Mr Atalifo said due to this, the weather office and its stakeholders are working to strengthen the national multi-hazard early warning systems.
He said they were also working to extend their reach to better enable an effective response to the associated risks, focusing on enhancing the impact and risk-based forecasts.
