Sigatoka Andhra Looks Forward To Quarters

The Jobe Naruma captained- Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College (SASC) Under-15 side has qualified for the Western Secondary Schools rugby quarterfinal next week.
Naruma’s side had lost 5-8 to Sigatoka Valley High in the opening round two weeks ago; last week they bounced back to defeat Sigatoka Methodist 13-5 in the Nadroga Navosa Secondary School Zone competition.
Head coach Timoci Nawaqa yesterday confirmed that the side would be playing Sigatoka Valley in a replay in tomorrow’s play-off.
“We have a good chance to test ourselves before the quarter-finals,” Naruma said.
The side had the services of Australia-born Vereti O’neil who plays at wing and Napolioni Nalaga Junior who is at second five eight.
“We have a very good mix of players, and the match should be in our favour.”
