Nadi-based, Wheel of Change Fiji, has reached out to two families trying to rebuild their lives following a horrific fire last week.

Shalini Lata she assisted the families in Sa­beto, Nadi on Thursday afternoon and looked at ways of providing assistance to them.

Ms Lata revisited the family providing them with clothes, cooking utensils, groceries and gave cash donation.

She said her NGO which has been her passion does go out of its way to assist these families in rebuilding their lives.

This is enhanced through a partnership with relevant stakeholders and they will look at ways to further assist these families.

Sarojni Devi, 55, who has lived in that area since birth is one of the two families affected by the fire.

Ms Devi thanked the Wheel of Change Fiji for its swift response to address the plight of her family.
