Expect a very competitive zone quarterfinals ahead, says Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union executive Biu Colati

The Fiji Rugby Union board member said competition would get tougher towards the quarterfinals of the zone competition.

Today, the Southern Zone Secondary Schools rugby competition played its last few round of competition before the zone quarterfinals next Saturday.
Schools like Marist Brothers High School, Suva Grammar School and Nasinu Secondary dominated the competition at the Suva Grammar School grounds.

“Heading into the business end of the competition all games and matches are getting tougher,” Colati said.

“It’s good to see outside schools stamping their mark in the competition and also trying to book their quarterfinal spot

“Teams like Nabua Secondary School, Lomary and Dudley are giving the big schools a good competition.

“The competition has really grown and we know it’s going to be better heading to the national quarterfinals.”
