Rewa Taking One Game At A Time

The Delta Tigers will take each game at a time leading up to their defending the Punjas Battle of the Giants title this weekend.
Rewa takes on All in One Builders Nadi at 2pm in the first BOG semifinal while Framtrac Tractors Labasa will face Bargain Box Ba in the second semi-final at 4:30pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday.
Rewa is the defending champion after beating Suva 1-0 in 2020 final at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
When asked yesterday, head coach Marika Rodu said their focus was on last night’s Digicel Premier League game against Nadroga.
“At the moment our focus is on tonight’s (last night) game,” he said.
“We just put BOG on the side for a bit, to take one game at a time.
“We have a task to do.”
“I know we will be playing one game more compared to Nadi, it will be a disadvantage to us,” he said.
“We are trying to focus on what’s on our plate at the moment.”
Meanwhile, former Labasa rep Ilisoni Logaivau was Rewa’s only new signing during the July transfer window.
Rewa has won the BOG title nine times while Ba has won the most winning the title 17 times.
