Bulitavu To Announce Political Move Next Week

Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) Member of Parliament (MP), Mosese Bulitavu, is expected to announce the next chapter of his political career in the 2022 General Election next week.
Mr Bulitavu has been vocal about his stance in SODELPA and his political allegiance has been consistently aligned to that of the FijiFirst Government’s policies.
The latest when he supported the 2022-2023 National Budget.
On social media, Mr Bulitavu said FijiFirst left no one behind in terms of development and assistance.
He said during this year’s election it was important for the public to vote for a party that would ensure continued stability.
“For 210,000 Fijians to receive their $180 cash assistance by next week Monday is a big coverage and shows the need for those eligible,” he said.
“The massive interest shown proves the policy will directly benefit many Fijians and lighten their burden due to the global inflation hike and price frustration of trade disruptions,” he said.
Mr Bulitavu is among the 11 SODELPA MPs who have not reapplied for a ticket to stand for the political party in the upcoming elections.
Other SODELPA MPs are Ro Filipe Tuisawau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, Adi Litia Qionabaravi, Mikaele Leawere, Dr Antonio Lalabalavu, Peceli Vosanibola, Inosi Kuridrani, Mitieli Bulanauca, Jese Saukuru.
He will issue out a statement once there’s a confirmation to reveal which party he will join.
