Rotuma And Its Beautiful Scenery

Rotuma offers many beautiful sceneries.
It is rich in untapped and untouched resources that leave many visitors in awe, according to villagers.
With more than 2000 people on the island, visitors have been enjoying what the island has to offer.
Meanwhile, Sunbiz met with Unaisi Mateiwai, Lanieta Gonewai, Lepani, Robert and Masilina Tabuaniqele who would be on the island for two weeks under the Rights, Empowerment and Cohesion (REACH) project.
The journey to Rotuma was like a dream come true for these workmates.
The island lies approximately 465 km to the north of Fiji.
What Do You Think Of Rotuma?
It is such a beautiful place on earth, we are just mesmerised daily, said Ms Mateiwai.
Why Rotuma?
Ms Gonewai said: “This has been one of the places I really wanted to visit so bad. I am glad I set foot here thanks to this project. I wore my white dress as it complemented the crystal clear waters that surrounded the island.”
What Is Special About The Island?
The artesian water.
Would You Recommend Rotuma As A Place To Visit?
Definitely, said Ms Gonewai, adding they wake up every day to an astonishing view of the island from the boat and that they drink coconut water more often as an energy drink.
