Police Search For Driver Involved In Cunnigham Accident
Police are still searching for the driver of the vehicle that tumbled near the traffic lights at the Cunningham junction in Suva at around 1am yesterday.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene and Police were searching for the driver as investigations continue.
The traffic lights pole was damaged due to the impact of the accident.
A statement by the Fiji Road Authority yesterday advised that the traffic light pole had been removed.
The FRA said there were sufficient primary and secondary lanterns to guide the vehicles through the intersection.
It has also advised motorists to take extra precautions on our roads.
