Police Probe Bus, Locomotive Crash
The bus’ passengers were trapped when the bus fell on it’s side, but with the assistance of the bystanders, they were able to free them.

Police are investigating an incident where a Sunbeam bus collided head on with a locomotive.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident happened after 5.30pm along Queens Highway, Navo, Nadi.
The bus’ passengers were trapped when the bus fell on it’s side, but with the assistance of the bystanders, they were able to free them.
Ms Naisoro said the locomotive driver and its assistant escaped injuries while the bus driver and passengers were taken to Nadi Hospital for treatment and observation.
There were no fatalities at the time of the accident.
