Rasaku, 23, scored four tries during the tournament in Cape Town over the weekend and received the Men’s Breakthrough Player award.

“I’m proud to be here in Bayonne,” Rasaku said in a video on the outfit’s social media platforms.

He scored 29 tries in 50 appearances for Fiji in sevens rugby.

Rasaku broke into the limelight while playing for Uluinakau Babaas in the local sevens tournaments.

He later represented Tailevu in the Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship before being drafted into the Fijian 7s training squad for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
