Doctor Who Allegedly Drowned In Nausori River Mourned

We’ve lost a brother and a friend who will be missed dearly and remembered fondly in our memories.
An emotional Kelera Railoa made this comment following the passing of her best friend and former classmate, Dr Neville Narayan, who allegedly drowned while swimming in the Nausori River at Nalawa, Ra last Friday.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the incident took place at around 5.30pm.
Ms Naisoro said the victim had gone swimming with two others when he was swept away by strong currents.
She said help was sought from the nearby village where they managed to recover his body.
Dr Narayan, who was based at the Waimaro Health Centre in Rakiraki, was the eldest of two siblings.
He was due to turn 28-years-old on October 2. A post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the off.
