‘All Peoples Party’ Now A Political Party

‘All Peoples Party’ has been registered as Fiji’s latest political party after the Registrar of Political Parties, Mohammed Saneem, approved the application made on August 25, 2022.
There was one objection received from The People’s Alliance concerning the use of name and adoption of members from the proposed Kingdom United Party.
This objection was dismissed given that the name “All Peoples Party” did not, in any way, have any near resemblance to the name “The People’s Alliance”.
Also, the All Peoples Party submitted signatures of its own members and none of them were from the proposed Kingdom United Party.
“It was found that the applicants had successfully furnished all the particulars required under the law and hence the party has been duly registered,” Mr Saneem said.
All People’s Party becomes the 13th political party to register under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.
The number of registered political parties currently stands at nine – FijiFirst party, Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA), National Federation Party (NFP), Fiji Labour Party (FLP), The People’s Alliance party (PA), New Generation Party, Unity Fiji party, We Unite Fiji and All Peoples Party.
Four parties have been de-registered – Freedom Alliance party, HOPE, One Fiji Party and Peoples’ Democratic Party.
