With only three months working in Fiji, Aspen Medical’s Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) consultant, Kerry Chapman has a soft spot for South Sea Cruises.

The 78-foot sailing catamaran is the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and South Sea Cruises, who own and operate South Sea Sailing commissioned the vessel last year.

Apart from soaking herself in the sun and sea, Ms Chapman, originally from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia is also devoted to writing inspirational poems and antidotes on life including notes on her spiritual journey.

Interestingly, she was also in the Australian Army for 30 years and is married with five children and is a grandmother to four grandchildren.

She said it was amazing to be working in Fiji surrounded by people who made them feel welcomed.

“Cultural experiences are very important to me and my husband, seeing the real Fiji,” she said. Ms Chapman, alongside her husband, plans to explore more places around the country.”

What Is The One Place You Would Take Visitors To And Why?

Sailing with South Sea Cruises on the stunning Sabre, I’ve done this twice every time and it’s been a fun filled day.

Snorkeling, swimming, and dancing and the lunch are awesome and they also cater for the dietary requirements.

What Is Your Favorite Place For Coffee/Pie And Why?

Living in Lautoka my favorite place would be Portside Coffee.

The staff are awesome and they make great coffee! Homemade muffins are delicious.

What Do You Like To Do In Your Free Time?

Anywhere near blue water and sand, I cannot get enough vitamin sea.

What Is One Place That Remains On Your Bucket List And Why?

Many places are on my bucket list.

I would have to be near water and have plenty of sun. Also, divulge into a spa experience with amazing food and entertainment.

I am also a lover of animals so it would be Turtle Island.
