Body Builders Progress To New Levels

Body building couple Jor­dan and Jamie Pillay have progressed to Clas­sic Physique and Wellness Divi­sion respectively following their recent participation in the In­ternational Federation of Body Building for the Men’s Physique and Bikini Pro qualifier in New Zealand.

The IFBB Pro Card experience have qualified them participate in their new grades in next year’s competition.

Speaking to SUNsports Jamie Pillay said while they are hon­oured about the upgrade they have started working on next year’s competition.

“We have been advised by the President of the NzIFBB that we had brought amazing physiques to this year’s competition that is why we have moved up to the next division,” Pillay said.

“Jordan is no longer in the Men’s Physique category; he is now in the Classic Physique cat­egory.

“I am stepping into the next cat­egory, the Wellness Division.

“We will definitely go back and compete with a bigger bet­ter package in the NzIFBB Show next year.”

She added that the door is open for those young people who are interested in the sport.

“For anyone out there who would like to take up the sport you must first have self-disci­pline, patience most of all be­lieve in yourself no matter how hard life gets,” she said.

“Set and understand your goal and do whatever it takes to achieve it knowing you will have to also make a lot of sacrifices along the way, the end result is rewarding.”
