Home and Living will open its 15th branch in Taveuni today. The company opened its 14th branch in Nakasi on Saturday after it saw the demand from the area.

Home and Living area manager Roselyn Prasad said they saw that there was a gap in reaching the highest populated areas between Suva and Nausori.

“We’re expanding our branches, when we open a branch, it’s not only about our business, but it is a way of investment into the economy,” Ms Prasad said.

The Nakasi branch provides 20 new jobs. Ms Prasad said they offered hire purchases for low income earners, car loans, pay car insurance, and home building materials.

She said the first priority was given to residents of Nakasi for employment as they plan to open until late in the evening.

Branch manager, Imran Khan said, the opening of the branch was an opportunity for customers to maximise on the wide range of products they have to offer from their double story outlet.

The top floor has a variety of home and office furniture and the bottom floor displays a range of white goods.

“The location is very convenient with parking space and three major supermarkets lined up next to the store.”

The company also launched its Diwali Promotion that would run until October 30.

The new branch is open seven days. Monday to Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday-Saturday 9am-7pm, Sunday 9am- 2pm.
