More than 2500 car enthu­siasts and more that 60 home-based cars have participated in the ‘MEET N GREET” – “SHOW N SHINE-NORTH” that was held last week­end in Labasa.

Growing Interest For Car Racing In Labasa
Families and friends that turned up to the ‘MEET N GREET” – “SHOW N SHINE-NORTH” at Labasa Sangam Primary.

More than 2500 car enthu­siasts and more that 60 home-based cars have participated in the ‘MEET N GREET” – “SHOW N SHINE-NORTH” that was held last week­end in Labasa.

Organised by the Fiji Motor­sports Association, the event was the first of its kind in Labasa.

President Raizal Haniff said the objective of the event was to show the people of Labasa the sports cars available in the market and also promote safer driving in Fiji.

 

“A total of 83 Vehicles were reg­istered for this event of which 23 were from Viti Levu and as an ap­preciation token these 23 vehicles abstain from competition,” he said.

“The event was ‘FREE FOR PARTICIPANTS AND PATRONS” best possible way to Welcome the Northerners in our Motorsports Industry.

 

“An event that we cannot digest this quick, plus moments are fly­ing on our Facebook page like a tsunami.

“FMA’s event is only possible with our very supportive and loy­al sponsors, like any other event without fund we are spinless and these sponsors coming on board with lots of obligation.

 

“We would like to thank each and every one with our gratitude,”
