Irene Buddy is one to figure with when it comes to ladies excelling in a male dominated world. Ms Buddy may be a cab driver within the Nasinu – Suva range.

Something that most women would see odd.

In 2019 she cleared out her white collar job within the fund field, penning a new enterprise for her.

She is one of the numerous female cab drivers who are reclassifying the spectrum of the cab benefit industry in the country: “For 20 a long time I was utilized in a white-collar work, nothing posh there as I knew I was predetermined for something incredible,” Ms Buddy said.

“This is my third year of providing taxi service.”

When she to begin with wandered into this business, like all other female, her pure modern work was not received well by her mom. “She (mum) was stressed for me, especially with the hazard associated with this work, but I’m happy she understood what I wanted.”
