Deans Newcomers Win U19 Title
It was a historic win for Ra High School as they claimed the Vodafone Super Deans Trophy Under-19 rugby title at Churchill Park, Lautoka, this afternoon.
Ra High School beat Ratu Navula College 15-8 in the U19 final.
Head coach Luke Serubasaga said they came in as minnows and put in the hard work to win the U19 division.
“It’s been a long season for these boys and I’m proud of their achievements,” he said.
“This is our first ever Deans Trophy and it means a lot to these young players.
“They will never forget this win they have created their own legacy.
“The celebrations will be sweet back in the village and the province of Ra.
“This win is dedicated to the parents, old scholars, family, the students of Ra High and the province of Ra.”
