Grammar, Marist U18 Line-Up For Final

The Vodafone Super Deans Trophy is moving back to Suva after 17 years.

The Suva Grammar School Under-18 rugby side has two made positional changes for this afternoon’s Vodafone Super Deans Trophy grandfinal at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

This is due to the absence of star halfback Philip Baselala and full-back Sairusi Masi, who are away with the Fijian U18 side in New Zealand.

First five eight Meli Pasi has been moved to fullback while Victor Sigavou is moved from second five eight to first five. Laisiasa Luke mans the halfback position while Mosese Nokelala is at second five eight.

In the forwards, bustling Emmanuel Temo returns to the base of the scrum. Temo was rested in the semi-final due to an injury. He played in the 21-8 win over Lelean Memorial School in the quarterfinal where he scored Grammar’s second try.

For Marist Brothers High School, Immanueli Naivolasiga steps in for tighthead prop Izzy Hesaia.

The matck kicks off at 5.40pm.
