Laxity in the second half proved costly for the Suva Grammar School Under-17 side as they went down 27-17 to Queen Victoria School in Lautoka, this afternoon.
Grammar led 12-10 at the breather in a tough encounter but lost their focus in the second half
Team manager Debra Gucake said: “There was laxity, that’s why we were not able to gain possession in the second half. It’s been done and we cannot change that.”
Gucake praised her players for doing their part by reaching the final.
“They have displayed good sportsmanship on the ground. A big thank you to the spectators, the parents, all the ex-scholars, teachers and current students for rallying behind our boys.”
