The Marist Brothers High School Under-17 winning came to an abrupt halt when they suffered an upset 8-3 loss to Suva Grammar School side in Lautoka, this afternoon.
Grammar is the newly crowned Vodafone Super Deans Trophy U17 champions.
The loss broke the hearts of MBHS supporters who dubbed the side as their ‘dream team’.
Grammar U18 coach Jim Rakesa said his players team executed their game plan well.
“We knew Marist was going to give us a tough game,” he said.
“The plan was to create some variations in our play that will tire them down.
“All in all we are happy with the result because this is our build-up for next season.
For now we will enjoy the win and focus on what the future holds for us.”
