The Queen Victoria School Under-16 side put on a classy performance to beat Suva Grammar School 27-17 in the Vodafone Super Deans Trophy final at Churchill Park, Lautoka, today.

QVS maintained their composure against a heavier SGS pack to come out victors.

QVS team manager Josua Ralaca said his players fought hard for the victory.

“We had to dig deep and get this win so I want to congratulate the boys for their effort,” Ralaca said.
Impressive for QVS was winger Senirusi Rauqe and first five eight Anare Tabukaucoro.

For Grammar it was blindside flanker Amenatave Tuivuya and fullback Aisake Penaia.

“We will build for next season and come back much stronger,” Ralaca added
