Sigatoka Methodist College Under-16 is crowned the girls Under-16 champions of the Weet-Box Raluve Trophy champions at Churchill Park, Lautoka, today.

This was after they beat Naitasiri Secondary School 12-10 in the final.
Team manager Repeka Qalibukala said the players and their families have sacrificed a lot.

“We had a tough season but these girls kept their composure to reach and win the final,” she said.

“This historic win is dedicated to God and to the mothers of these players’ who were with us every day.

“Most of these girls come from broken families but the word of God and team bonding kept them together,”
