“We have advised church ministers or pastors for all funds collected by the church to be used in a proper manner.”

“We have discussed this at the head office and we are taking all the complaints we have received seriously.”

He said they would be deal with the matter internally first before it is referred to the authorities.

“The issue has been referred to the standing committee. It depends on the meetings. I believe the church executives will take actions,” Dr Turagavou said.

“As it is an internal matter, the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma Reverend Ili Vunisuwai will handle all the issues being referred to the standing committee.”
