All People’s Party To Focus On All Fijians

All People’s Party leader, Pastor Tuiloma Tawaivuna, says the focus of the party is on all Fijians, not leaving anyone out.
The Lautoka-based Christian denomination church, Eleventh Hour Ministry president said the news of their successful registration came as a blessing from God.
He said the news was received during a prayer meeting in Sigatoka.
“I am overwhelmed and I am excited and we are so happy because we have been trying so hard to register the party and in our first attempt our application was rejected because we lacked signatories from the Northern Division and the Central Division,” Mr Tawaivuna said.
“We gathered and I sent staff back to Vanua Levu, Suva, the hills of Naitasiri to collect signatures and we submitted again our application and again we were about to be registered when PAP (People’s Alliance Party) objected to our registration on the similarity of our name and they also alleged that we merged with Kingdom United Party.
“It was the driving favour of God, we prayed about it, we fasted and God finally intervened but one thing I was rest assured from the beginning because He has given me the vision way back, I wrote everything down that one time in the history of this nation the Kingdom of God will rule Fiji, this is divine orchestration, divine appointment.”
Announcement of Candidates
He said the announcement of candidates would be made when a date is set for the official launch of the party.
“We will publish an expression of interest in the media giving time to those who are interested to be candidates in the party, we were planning to do that next week,” he added.
“We don’t want to drag that and delay it, we want to do this because we don’t know when the Writ of Election will be announced.
“After we publish the expression of interest, we will sit and go through the process of screening all the applicants because we just have to choose 55.”
Party Manifesto
He said he could not reveal any details yet on the party’s manifesto.
“Generally we are not focusing on the iTaukei only, Christians only, we are focusing on all people that is why we are called All People’s Party because we believe that we all come from God despite our dominations, beliefs and faiths,” he said.
