BSP Life Makes $20K Commitment

WOWS Kids received a $20,000 cheque from BSP Life and its Rooster Chicken and Oceania Hospitals, with the support of Sofitel Fiji.
This was the culmination of its 50 million Steps in 60 days campaign for WOWS.
Staff members from BSP Life and its subsidiaries turned up in numbers despite the adverse weather for a zumba session on Saturday.
Total accumulated steps exceeded 85 Million, which was 70 per cent above the original target.
Campaign Objective
BSP Life managing director, Michael Nacola, said one of the objectives of the campaign was health and wellness.
“As a leading life and health in- surer, it is our duty to lead by ex- ample by taking care of ourselves and our families to combat the dreadful effects of non-communicable diseases,” Mr Nacola said.
“This journey enabled us to lift our focus on healthy living as well as our fitness levels. I thank all members of the BSP Life family for their active participation in this worthy cause.
“The second objective, which is the most important, is supporting children suffering from cancer.
“We are grateful to the WOWS Kids foundation for all the great work they do, and we hope our small contribution will assist them in caring for our vulnerable children.
“The children, some of whom were at zumba today, are true heroes and we pray that each of them will overcome their battle with cancer through the support of WOWS.”
WOWS Kids team leader, Mere Lutuciri-Williams said: “This support is very timely as we struggled through COVID, and BSP Life and its subsidiaries have helped us increase our outreach and cover essential costs for our children, who come from all across Fiji.”
