All People’s Party announced its first line-up of 10 provisional candidates in Naidiri, Natadola on Saturday.

The Lautoka-based political party is led by leader, Pastor Tuiloma Tawaivuna.

The lineup are:

  • Livai Naboro, 57, from Trinity Mission Fellowship.
  • Vilimoni Ato, 46, from Apostles Fellowship International.
  • Jope Tavucilagi, 61, from the Assemblies of God.
  • Ratu Tevita Nabokolaewake Nasila, 64, from Worship Centre Ministry.
  • Jone Lutunauga, 53, from Eleventh Hour Ministry International.
  • Ledua Seruvatu, 54, from Youth With A Mission.
  • Jese Temo from Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Mesulame Kurunacoba, 23, from Covenant Evangelical Church.

  • Watisoni Naqia, 61, from Assemblies of God.

Pastor Tawaivuna said the party would be holding a meeting today to discuss and decide on a date that it would release its manifesto.

“We believe in what we stand for and that is to increase the minimum wage rate in Fiji, to reinstate corporal punishment, reconnect Fiji back to Israel under the Commonwealth of Israel, to make the iTaukei language as our national language because English is our second language and to also see how we can recover our lands like freehold and crown land back to the landowners who have lost their lands gradually during the past years,” he said.

He said the responses and support from Fijians around the country was overwhelming.

He added that his party would also work towards filling the 55 seats.

“We are in process of working on a second date to announce the next line of provisional candidates that would be held at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park,” he said.
