New External Exam Dates

The new External Examinates dates for Years Eight, 12 and 13 students have been released by the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts.
This follows the announcement of a December 14 General Election.
Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Premila Kumar made the announcement of the new exam dates at a press conference yesterday.
She added that the changes were also important for voters as many schools would be used as polling stations during the election period.
Year Eight Exams
Year Eight exams that were initially scheduled to start on Tuesday, December 13, will now start on Friday, December 9 and end on Tuesday, December 13.
Year 12
Year 12 exams that were scheduled to begin on Monday, December 5 will now start on Thursday, December 1 and end on Tuesday, Dec 13.
Year 13
Year 13 exams that were scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 29 will now start on Monday, November 28 and end on Thursday, December 8.
She said the new examination dates would help in maintaining a stress-free experience during the examination period for the thousands of hardworking Fijian students.
The minister also wished the best for every Fijian student who will be sitting these exams.
She also thanked teachers, parents and guardians for their endless support in their children’s education.
