The Fiji Police Force is investigating a case in which a Year Eight student allegedly took a substantial amount of money to school and distributed it among other students.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the report and said the amount was substantial and initial information was that it belonged to a relative who kept it at home as his savings.
The report was lodged at the Raiwaqa Police Station.
Investigations are underway.
