The Heineken House hosted about 100 guests on Tuesday afternoon to mark the unrivaled racing spectacle Melbourne Cup.

The four-hour programme included a live broadcast of the Melbourne Cup Race that stops the nation of Australia, a betting station, live DJ, and various buffet stations.

The guests witnessed a colourful fashion show via a catwalk under the theme: Tropical Sunset and a day at the races, were presented by joint top designers Hupfeld Hoerder and Tracey Farrington.

Marriott International Fiji Market Director Sales & Marketing Regina Wilson said the Melbourne Cup is another good opportunity to do business with 100 guests.

“This event highlighted such a great venue location with great food and beverage offered at various work stations, prepared by the enthusiastic groups of chefs,” Ms Wilson said.

She said they were showcases to the whole of Fiji about the fabulous food.

“The guests were able to be indulged in a sumptuous menu from our live cook- ing stations offering a range of fresh seafood, sizzling wood charcoal grilled meats and vegetarian options,” she said.

“It is so encouraging to be part of this event, where best dressed prizes and the guests turned out in the themed attire of a casual affair.”
