The People’s Alliance deputy leader, Manoa Kamikamica, believes in service before self.

Speaking during the party’s rally in Lami on Saturday, he said those who knew him personally would attest to this.

As a proud member of the warrior clan of the Navitomi tribe in Tailevu, Mr Kamikamica said his first instinct was to protect those he cared about.

Should he get elected into government after the election, he said he would ensure that the rights of every Fijian were protected, their way of life and dignity.
