Big Draw At 10am Today
The Big Draw for the national candidates list will take place today at 10am, the Fijian Elections Office has confirmed.
The big draw will identify the number of a national candidate on the ballot paper. There are 343 candidates approved by the FEO to stand for election. Yesterday, the Electoral Commission (EC) received 10 appeals and two objections to nominations approved by the Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem, for the 2022 General Election.
Among the list, there were people who had been withdrawn by parties including a case of four people who were not even nominated.
