Sainiana Kulamailagi was still in shock after the discovery of a woman’s body along the Lomolomo Beach in Lautoka at around 10am on Sunday.
The body was found near a private property along Lomolomo Beach.
Ms Kulamailagi’s family live with her brother, the caretaker of the private property. It is within walking distance from where the body discovery was made.
“We were going about our own day when the Police came and asked us to open the property gate,” she said.
