Let’s Go Local: Evaluator, Engineer & Cook, Laucala Tops Hassan’s List

Mohammed Siraz Hassan is the acting manager employee relations at Energy Fiji Limited.
He was first introduced to Fiji Business Excellence Awards through his current employer EFL in 2016.
He has been an FBEA evaluator since then and has done evaluation at different award categories.
Having spent 12 years with EFL, he has grown professionally and has gained more confidence in his roles.
What many do not know is that apart from being an electrical engineer, Mr Hassan is also a good cook and has twin daughters that he loves very much.
He is originally from the Friendly North and loves travelling.
How many places have you visited around Fiji?
Nearly entire Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
Where is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to and why?
Savusavu – it is a true hidden paradise

Savusavu town, on the island of Vanua Levu in the province of Cakaudrove.
What is your favourite place for coffee/pie?
Coffee Hub – Nadi or Baravi in Sigatoka.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I prefer doing research and development, reading and on a planned basis sitting with like-minded personnel over grog and sharing the week gone and the week coming.
What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list, and why?
Laucala Island Resort – I heard about it from many and would like to see it myself.
