The dishing of red and yellow cards is a big setback in the progress of the Flying Fijians. This was revealed last night by head coach Vern Cotter, as they focus on the issue before taking on the French Barbarians in Lille, France, on Sunday (Fiji time).

“It has been two weeks in a row,” Cotter said.

“The first week we had (three) yellow cards and last week it was (two) yellow cards and a red.”

“Playing with 14 or 13 men is a lost opportunity for us and also stop us from expressing ourselves.”
