‘Wrong For Victims Of Climate Change To Pay Own Relocation’

It was morally unjust, wrong, for victims of climate change to pay for their own relocation, says Fiji’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr Satyendra Prasad.

Mr Prasad made the comment during a side event at the Moana Blue Pacific Pavilion in Sharm El-Sheikh while highlighting that 48 communities in Fiji were in the process of relocating because of sea level rise affecting their daily livelihoods.
