Lako Yani Vou, A Blessing For Tailevu Women
The Lako Yani Vou Co-operative Limited is a true illustration of the phrase “Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much”.
Nestled in the Nausori Market, the co-operative members are made up of women from Viwa, Cautata, Logani, Vatani, Waicoka, Kiuva, Nakoroivau Muanaira, Ovea, Namuka, Dromuna, Soso, Naiyala and Waikulua in Tailevu.
These women take turns to prepare and sell food at the stall which operates on a six-day basis from 6am to 5pm.
It was established in 2019 with aims to help the Tailevu women earn a living.
