As part of IHG’s Global Customer Appreciation Week, three IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) in Fiji hosted Suva-based partners and customers at an appreciation event at Grand Pacific Hotel, Suva, Fiji.

Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW) is a global initiative meant to drive meaningful interactions with local customers and thank the most loyal partners for their business and support towards one of the world’s leading hotel companies.

“We are delighted to host our partners and customers for this Customer Appreciation Event at the iconic Grand Pacific Hotel. This is a very important event for us as we celebrate our customers for their trust in doing business with us and their loyalty towards our hotels,” commented Lachlan Walker, Area General – South Pacific, IHG.

“The theme for this year’s Global Customer Appreciation Week is Think Globally, Act Locally, and we’re on a journey to further contribute towards positive social and economic change in Fiji. You will see this coming to life as we launch new initiatives to use more local vendors and suppliers towards our IHG Business Events and more.”

 

The Sales and Marketing teams of InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Grand Pacific Hotel, and Holiday Inn Suva also participated in appreciation calls for their Suva clients and in-person visits, accompanied by appreciation boxes of baked delights.

The visits were highlights of the week and appreciated by all clients. InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa will host a similar event in late January 2023, hosting IHG Fiji’s Western-based partners and customers to thank them for their ongoing support.

IHG properties hosted Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW), encouraging on-property and off-property sellers to have virtual or face-to-face visits with customers around the globe.

GCAW’s overall theme is Think Globally, Act Locally. This theme incorporates IHG’s global portfolio, and the milestone of over 6,000 hotels opened globally.

It also incorporates true hospitality for good and giving back to people, communities, and our planet.
