The Fijian Government has invested $272 million into the Tailevu province from 2014 to 2021.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama announced this while opening the Tailevu Provincial Council meeting at Naisausau Village in Namara. He said Tailevu has received its fair share of progress.
“Tailevu has been part of our national journey every step of the way. Yes, Tailevu is my home province. That has no bearing on why you have enjoyed such unprecedented levels of development,” Mr Bainimarama said.
