‘Israel is the best agricultural nation in the world’

Part of the All People’s Party manifesto is to link Fiji closely to Israel and have a Fijian Embassy in Jerusalem and an Israeli Embassy in Suva.
The party’s leader, Pastor Tuiloma Tawaivuna, who is confident of getting into Government, said this would first begin by making agriculture as the backbone of Fiji’s economy.
“Israel is the best agricultural nation in the world,” he said.
“They’ve done amazing things and miracles in the desert of how they produce large quantities and qualities of vegetables and fruits in the desert.”
