Let’s Go Local: Nakasaleka Yale Kadavu, Favorite Spot For Ana Malumuvatu

Money doesn’t buy happiness until you spend it on Kavalicious, says Ana Malumuvatu. Ms Malumuvatu is the founder and director for Kavalicious Taveuni. She was born and raised in Vuna, Taveuni, with her 11 siblings.
Her parents were yaqona farmers and this inspired her to start her yaqona business. With an investment of $100,000, Ms Malumuvatu started her business in February this year. She has now expanded it to making Kava cooking, Kava Chocolate and Kava Popsicles.
The business has provided jobs to eight people who manage the farm in Taveuni. Kavalicious was displayed at the Investment Fiji trade show in Sydney and Brisbane, Australia in July and it also participated in the 2022 Fiji Enterprise Engine.
“If you have the heart, drive, discipline most and foremost have faith in this great God up above anything can be achieved,” Ms Malumuvatu said.
