Major Developments In The Tourism Industry
There have been some major developments and upgrades in the Tourism Industry, a sign that the industry is growing says Tourism Fiji.
With the challenges posed by COVID-19 and complete border closures, most properties utilised the period as an opportunity to upgrade and prepare for a strong reopening.
Tourism Fiji says the initiative has been highly supported with lucrative tax incentives in place for hotels and resorts to upgrade and renovate. To provide further comfort to the industry during COVID-19, these incentives were further simplified to accommodate more properties.

Earlier this year, Marriott Group reopened the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort.
