It was a heartwarming moment for Queen Victoria School (QVS) dux, Seruitubuna Vosarogo.
The 18-year-old, after being announced as the most outstanding student for 2022, laid down his trophy and shield and in front of the school, parents and teachers and guests performed the ‘cobo’. But not to just anyone.
It was to none other than his father, Filimoni Vosarogo.
Mr Vosarogo, a renowned lawyer, is also the president of the QVS Parents, Guardians and Friends Association and The People’s Alliance candidate.
