Xavier College student Lavinia Nairoqo scored twice as Ba beat Labasa 4-2 in the Digicel Women’s Interdistrict Championship 2022 final at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, yesterday.
An emotional Ba captain Luisa Tamanitoakula praised her team-mates for not letting their guards down in a torrid encounter.
“Hats off to the girls for their splendid performance, we were down close to full-time, then we equalised and fought back to win,” she said.
