The National Fire Authority (NFA) is investigating a residential structural fire at Saweni, Lautoka which occurred at around midday on Sunday November 27, 2022.
NFA Chief Executive Officer Puamau Sowane confirmed that a call to tend to the fire was received by the NFA’s Command Centre at 12.24pm.
“The structure was a corrugated house and well involved-fire had spread to the facer board of the garage of the nearby house. At 12 .51 pm the fire was under control and the crew working on hot spots,” he said.
