Quick action by National Fire Authority officers avoided a fire at Nakavu in Nadi early Monday morning from spreading to nearby homes.
The NFA Chief Executive Officer confirmed no injuries were sustained by the occupants, however the two-bedroom house had been destroyed.
“The report that I received was from Nakavu, there was no injury in this fire but it was around 1am to 2 am on Monday when we received the report of the fire. When our team arrived there it was already well engulfed,” he said.
